Our new Explorer 3-Leg Dolly has wheel clusters that look like traditional track wheels, but are designed to function as both track and floor wheels. ![]() This means you can roll your assembled jib arm on any smooth floor or switch to track without changing the wheels. In addition, one of the wheel clusters features our signature floating arm mechanism for use with our award-winning FlexTrak. |

Another useful configuration is to make the Explorer into a mini-jib using only 2 rails instead of 4. We think of this more as a tripod- enhancer than a jib arm. It takes up almost no more space than the footprint of the tripod, so it can be used in tight locations, and its 30” (76cm) of lift can provide a significant move. Or it can be used to simply reposition the camera far more quickly than adjusting the height of tripod.

Add the 4 Leveling Feet to the 12" cross supports for low shot mode
